Hey! Check this out!

Greetings to all! My name is Kasey Schwemmer. I'm now 20 years old as of October 1st, live in Wichita KS, and have been involved in ballooning for the last 15 years or so. I've created this page mostly to share the photos of my latest creation, a 32,000 cubic foot single-place hot air balloon. Check the top tabs for new additions as I do more stuff with the balloon. I am also in the process of finishing up my private pilot certificate, so one of these years, I'll be able to take passengers with me (in an FAA-certified balloon of course). Just need to have my check flight! So, have a look around, tell me what you think, what you dont think, and anything else that comes to mind.

Please be patient as I add more to the site!

In the mean time, here are some random and possibly even interesting thoughts that may or may not make any bit of sense at all.

Seem like not much is here?

That's because sadly, its true. My main focus right now is photos, so that'll be the main feature of this website for now. I will definately add more and more as time goes by , like where I got my materials from, costs, what's left to do, etc... I might also throw some extras in here too that are non-ballooning related.

Good News!

On Friday, October 26th I was able to put my balloon up and conclude that it is now time for an actual flight. Everything looked good on the top vent, rotator vents looked and worked well, and the "basket" feels safe enough :)
